What’s A Dress Rehearsal Week?

Monday, December 8 - Saturday, December 13

Dress Rehearsal Week is a special time when dancers get to practice their routines in full costume, just as they will perform on stage! Concert Rehearsal Week is a critical part of performance preparation as it helps students shift into performance mode.
This week is designed to help dancers:

  • Get comfortable dancing in their costumes and shoes

  • Learn stage flow of entrances and exits

  • Build confidence before showtime!

Attendance is mandatory to ensure every dancer feels prepared and supported. Dress rehearsal also allows our staff to make any last-minute adjustments so that performance day runs smoothly and is stress-free for everyone.

SOAR & Enrichment students will follow their regular in-studio class schedule.

  • However, the location of your student’s rehearsal (Studio A, B, or C) may shift during this week to allow classes to dance in a larger space as they prepare for the concert stage.

  • YAA students will follow a modified rehearsal schedule.

ALL students must arrive ON TIME and fully prepared for their scheduled rehearsals.

  • Students must arrive to the studio in full costume, with a cover-up over their costume. Only wear hair accessories provided with the costume.

  • Bring all additional costumes (if applicable) in a garment bag. All costumes, shoes, and bags MUST BE LABELED with the student’s first name and last initial on the inside, with their photo on the front.
