Concert FAQs


Before the Show

Arrive on time for dress rehearsal and the concert day.

  1. Arrive in costume (with a cover-up over the costume).

  2. Label all costumes, shoes, and accessories with your child’s name.

  3. Inform family and friends about online ticket sales and prices.

  4. Review hair and makeup requirements ahead of time (see provided guidelines).


During the Show

 
 

Hair, Makeup & Costume Prep.

Do not remove students before the end of the show, because all performers will participate in the finale.

  • Parents are not permitted backstage during dress rehearsal or performance.

  • No food or drink backstage or in the theater (only labeled water bottles allowed).

  • No gum, jewelry, or underwear under costumes.

  • Follow all directions from assigned parent volunteers and staff during rehearsal week and concert day.

 
  • Hair: All dancers should wear a neat, secure bun. For students with short hair, ensure hair is styled away from the face and securely fastened.

  • Makeup: Light foundation and blush with red lipstick. Use shades that complement your child’s complexion while staying within the approved guidelines. Please follow the reference photos for consistency.

  • Bring extra tights, hairpins, safety pins, combs, brushes, hair gel, and tissues.

  • Spray ballet shoes prior to in-studio dress rehearsal.

  • Wear all required accessories, shoes, tights, and hair for the concert.
